Obituary for Adelaide M. (Savoir) LeMay
Adelaide M. (Savoir) LeMay, 89, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on Nov. 29, 2016 with her loving family by her side. Born in Springfield, she has lived in Ludlow 63 years and worked for a brief time at the former Brooks Bank Note in Springfield before retiring to raise her family. Adelaide was an active member of the Ludlow Senior Center, loved doing crafts, and enjoyed playing bingo at various area clubs and churches. Adelaide was a beloved wife of 69 years to Albert H. LeMay, Sr.; a loving mother to Mary Shields, of Ludlow, and the late Albert H. LeMay, Jr., and Christine Sulewski; a beloved grandmother and great-grandmother to several grandchildren; a dear sister to Kenneth Savoir, of Palmer, and the late Charles and Eugene Savoir, and Alberta Bernardo; and also leaves many loving extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services for Adelaide are on Friday, December 2nd. Visiting hours are from 8:45-9:45 in Ludlow Funeral Home with funeral home chapel services beginning at 10:00am followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
