Obituary for Paul Lucas Jr.
Paul Lucas Jr., 81, of Ludlow passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on Wednesday October 25, 2017.  Born in Springfield he was a 1954 Graduate of Tech High School and was a firefighter for the City of Springfield for 29 years.  He enjoyed being on the water kayaking and canoeing and was a self taught, multifaceted hobbyist which included woodworking, stained glass and oil painting.  He leaves his wife Sarah (Costa) Lucas of Ludlow; his children Paul Lucas III, Michelle Kennedy and husband John and Sherrie McCullough and husband Keven; grandchildren Mark, Jillian, Sara, Ethan, Brittany and John; his brothers Robert and Donald Lucas.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 1, 2017 from the Ludlow Funeral Home.  Visiting hours are from 9:00-10:30am followed by a Chapel service beginning at 10:30am, burial will be held privately by his family.  In lieu of flowers please donations in Paul’s name to: Springfield Fire Department for Fire Education, 605 Worthington Street, Springfield, Ma.
