Obituary for Ralph W. Lecuyer
Ralph W. Lecuyer, 71, of Ludlow, passed away unexpectedly at home on December 22, 2017. Born in Ludlow, son of the late Warren and Stephanie (Koziara) Lecuyer, he was a lifelong resident and graduate of Springfield Trade School. Ralph worked for many years at Atlas Copco in Holyoke before retiring, and in his spare time enjoyed playing pool, spending time outdoors, especially in his garden, and tinkering with everything and anything that needed fixing. He was also an avid Red Sox and N.E Patriot fan, loved riding his 1969 Triumph motorcycle, but most of all, loved spending time with family, friends, and his beloved cat Brady. Ralph was the loving husband of 18 years to Susan (Lubarsky) Lecuyer; a devoted father to Sharon Lecuyer and husband Marc Blandin, of Bellingham, and Renee Napier and husband Eric, of Cape Elizabeth, ME; a dear brother to Ronald Lecuyer, of Ludlow, and the late Raymond Lecuyer; adoring grandfather to Dylan Murphy and Ayla Napier; and also leaves his step-daughter Tammy Gamauche and companion Jared Estey, step-son Richard Bowers and companion Ann Pheiffer, nephew Art “Skip” Supernor and wife Joann and their children Drew, Tyler, and Noah, niece Lori Chisholm, husband Brian, and their children Nick and Brooke, best friends and neighbors Jaime and Naida Nascimento, as well as many loving extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services for Ralph will be held on Friday, December 29th. Visiting hours are from 10:00-11:45am at Ludlow Funeral Home with a funeral home chapel service beginning at 12:00pm followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ralph’s memory to the American Heart Association (heart.org) or the charity of one’s choice.
