Obituary for Vicki A. (Marshall) Alves
Vicki A. Alves, 53, of Ludlow passed away peacefully on November 17, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Springfield, daughter of Dorothy (Ziemba) Marshall and her late husband Richard Marshall, she was a lifelong Ludlow resident, a 1981 graduate of Ludlow H.S. and worked for many years at Ludlow Big Y. Vicki was a devoted wife and mother and was a caring and honest person who was loved by all who knew her; but first and foremost, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially on family vacations to Maine and other destinations. Vicki was the beloved wife of 19 years to Robert Alves; a loving mother to Taylor Alves, Natalie Alves, and Seth Reich and mother in law to Andrea Lafont; a dear sister to Tracy Maki, and the late John Marshall; a loving aunt to Tyler Maki; and also leaves many loving extended family members and friends. At Vicki’s request, all services will be privately handled by the family with Ludlow Funeral Home entrusted with her care. Donations may be made in Vicki’s memory to her favorite charity Shriner’s Hospital for Children 516 Carew St. Springfield, Ma. 01104.
