Obituary for Adelina Fraga
Adelina Fraga, 90, of Ludlow was called home to God on Thursday July 16th, 2009. Born in Springfield to the late Jose and Maria (Lopes) Fraga she was a lifelong Ludlow resident and faithful communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Parish. Adelina worked for Ludlow Textiles for many years and cherished the time she spent with her family and friends. She was the beloved sister of Gracinda Dos Santos of Ludlow; caring sister-in-law of Elisa Fraga of Indian Orchard and Carolina Fraga of Ludlow; loving aunt to many caring nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Adelina was predeceased by her brothers Carlos Fraga in 2004 and Raul Fraga in 2007 as well as her brother-in-law Joao Dos Santos in 2005. Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 18th, 2009 at 8:00am from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial beginning at 9:00am in Our Lady of Fatima Church followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours are Friday evening from 5:00-8:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Adelina’s memory to the Our Lady of Fatima Renovation Fund, Winsor St. Ludlow, MA. 01056.
