Obituary for Agnes (Selepak) Fedoras
Agnes (Selepak) Fedoras, 81, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully at home, Thursday April 30th, with her loving family at her side. Born in Beaverdale, PA, daughter of the late Vasil and Julia Selepak, she has lived in Ludlow since 1949, where she was a devoted member of St. Peter & St. Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church.She worked for 33 years as a telephone operator for AT&T, and was a member of the Telephone Co. Pioneers before retiring in 1987. Agnes was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Fedoras, who predeceased her in 1994; a loving mother to Michael Fedoras and his wife Barbara, of E. Hartford Ct., Diane Robbins and her husband Ray, of Ludlow, and Joann Fedoras and her companion Robert Cardinal; a dear sister to Dolores Yanzetich, of Sidman, PA; cherished grandmother to Jeffrey Robbins, Erica Cronan and her husband Earl, and Marc and Jamie Fedoras; and great grandmother to her precious and adorable great grandchildren Madison and Owen Cronan. The family would like to thank and acknowledge Mercy Hospice, as well as Home Instead Senior Care, for their devoted care and compassion. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 4, 2009 at 8:15am from Ludlow Funeral Home with the Liturgy at 9am in St. Peter & St. Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visitation is on Sunday from 4-7pm with a Panakhyda Service at 6pm.
