Obituary for Alan M. Ericksberg
Alan M. Ericksberg, 58, of Ludlow, died suddenly on June 16, 2010. Born in Springfield, he was a lifelong resident and was a self employed carpenter and handyman. He enjoyed fishing, camping, boating, and was nicknamed MacGyver by his family and friends because he was always there to help out anyone in need. Alan was the beloved husband of 37 years to Diane (Gonsalves) Ericksberg; the loving father to Amber Ericksberg, of FL; the son of Alvah and Eva “Theresa” (LaBelle) Ericksberg, of Ludlow, brother to Kenneth (Pam) of S.C., Carl (Karen) of West Springfield, and Terry Houghton, of N.C.; and also leaves countless extended family members and dear friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2010 from 4:00 to 5:00pm at Ludlow Funeral Home and Cremation Services concluding with a Celebration of Life Service at 5:00pm officiated by Rev. Francis Manning.
