Obituary for Alfredo "Big Al" Maravilha
BIG AL Maravilha, 48, passed away February 13, 2017. He is pre-deceased by his parents Joao and Aida and nephew LJ. He is survived by wife Linda; son Michael John; brothers Louis (June) and Victor (Isabelle) and many nieces and nephews around the world.
AL is described by his family as fun, goofy, a jokester, loveable, reliable, kind hearted, giving, hilarious, determined, loving, unpredictable, brave and awesome! He loved life and his family and dear friends that he considered “family”. He believed in working hard and playing harder. He wanted to give his wife the world / everything her heart desired; which included giving her a child. For Michael, he was very proud to have a child that would be a gift to all. He wanted only what was best for his son. He wanted his son to know the world and see the world through loving eyes. In the last two years of his life he lived out his dream. He worked at a small family owned hotel on the beach and to make sure that his family would enjoy living life without being confined to the winter cold and snow and ice of Massachusetts and to live life and be free. He encouraged everyone to live their dream and to work at making their dream a reality.
AL would encourage everyone along with his family to always hug one another, smile and say I love you because you never know when God will call you home.
Funeral services for Al will be held in New Port Richie Florida. In lieu of flowers, and gifts and donations may be made to Al's family via the following link www.youcaring.com/lindamaravilha-758656
