Obituary for Alfredo Correia
Alfredo Correia, 70, of Ludlow, was called safely to home on December 21, 2024 surrounded by family. Alfredo was born in Portugal , son of the late Alfredo Correia and the late Elisa (Vicencio) Correia, he immigrated to the United States in 1971. He retired as a groundskeeper from Amherst College in 2013. He was a member of the Gremio Lusitano and a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Ludlow. Alfredo loved soccer and was a fan of Sporting Clube de Portugal, Lisbon. He leaves behind his loving children, Susan (Correia) Lopes and son-in-law Peter, Jeffrey Correia and daughter-in-law Heather, grandson Luca Correia, and extended family members in Portugal. A special thank you and gratitude to Maria Correia for her care and compassion throughout the years. Funeral services will be held privately.
