Obituary for Alice M. Mills
Alice M. (Balboni) Mills, 80, of Ludlow, was called safely home to be with God on Wednesday, April 12, 2006. Born in Wareham, MA, she was a lifelong resident of Chicopee and Springfield before moving to Ludlow in 1997. She also greatly enjoyed music and dancing. Alice was predeceased by her husband of 50 years Wendell, who passed away in 1996. She leaves her loving children Wendell Mills and his wife Debra of Springfield and Barbara Webster and her husband Richard of Southampton; cherished grandchildren Eric Webster of Greenfield, Steven Webster and his wife Pauline of Southampton and Daniel, Sara and Joshua Mills of Springfield; caring sisters Ilea Castoldi of Auburndale, MA., Dot Wojoznis of Maynard, MA., Ethel Fortini of Wellesley, MA.; her sister in law Daphne Balboni of Natick, MA., beloved brother in law Edward “Cliff” Baker of Gilford, NH and her granddog Cody. She was also predeceased by her 2 brothers Lario and Armando. A chapel service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 10:00am at the Ludlow Funeral Home followed by burial in Hillcrest Park Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home are Friday from 5-8pm and donations may be made in Alice’s memory, in honor of Holly, to RETT Syndrome Research Foundation, RSRF Office 4600 Devitt Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio 45246.
