Obituary for Althea "Sally" Mastorakis-Gagne
Althea “Sally” Mastorakis-Gagne, 79, of Palmer, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2008. Born in Canada, she lived in the Holyoke and Granby areas for many years. She most recently resided in Cape Coral, FL., where she was a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary in North Ft. Myers, before moving to Palmer in February. Sally was a self employed hairdresser in Granby for many years before retiring and enjoyed singing and playing the guitar. Sally was the loving daughter of the late Louise Bessette, a loving wife of 33 years to Edward Gagne, a loving mother to David Mastorakis and his wife Tracy, of Palmer, Diane Mastorakis-Leal and her husband Tony, of Ludlow, Douglas Mastorakis and his wife Wanita, of Holyoke, and Dean Mastorakis and his fiancée Kathy Skowyra, of Monson; a cherished grandmother to Angela, Kimberly, Derek, Jason, Brandon, Jacob and Alexis; a great-grandmother of 6; dear sister of the late Patricia Gosciminski; and also leaves many other loving family members and dear friends. Visiting hours are on Monday Evening from 4-7pm at Ludlow Funeral Home 432 East St. Ludlow, concluding with a Celebration of Life Service at 7:00pm. Interment will be held privately.
