It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ana (DaSilva Juliano) Esteves, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Ana left us on March 29th, surrounded by the love and warmth of her family. Born in Padornelos, Portugal, daughter of Sebastiao Goncalves Juliano and Maria Aparecida da Silva, she immigrated to the United States in 1966 and worked at the Ludlow Mills for many years before retiring. Ana was a faithful parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church and held a profound devotion to Our Lady of Fatima to guide her throughout her life. Ana found joy in sewing, gardening, and walking the neighborhood with friends. Ana was a resilient, independent, and hardworking woman, known for her strength of character and her endless love for family. Ana was a devoted wife of 45 years to her late husband, Jose Esteves, who was her best friend and the love of her life. Ana leaves behind her loving children, Manuel and daughter-in-law Elizabeth, Grace and her partner Michael vanOssenbruggen, and her beloved grandchildren Andrew and Emily. She also leaves behind her brother Manuel Juliano and his wife Nela, Fernando Juliano and his wife Diane; her late brother Antonio Juliano and his wife Casilda, and Maria Da Cruz and her husband Joao. Ana also leaves behind aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends who loved her. She will be deeply missed by all. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025 from the Ludlow Funeral Home. Visitation is Saturday morning from 9am-10:15am with a Liturgy of Christian Mass celebrated at 11:00am in Our Lady of Fatima Church, followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery.
