Ana P. Goncalves passed away peacefully on May 21, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 14, 1920 to the late Antonio Goncalves and Maria Pereira in Travassos-da-Cha, Montalegre, Portugal.
Her greatest pastime was playing cards (sueca), spending time with her family especially the Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren.
She was pre deceased by her husband Joao Goncalves and her son Antonio J Goncalves, her brother Antonio Goncalves and wife Idalina Goncalves, brother Fernando Goncalves and wife Maria Goncalves.
She leaves her loving daughters, care giver Maria Pereira and husband Joao T. A. Pereira, Benta Goncalves and husband Jose Antonio Goncalves, Carminda Goncalves and husband Artur de Moura (daughter-in-law, loved as a daughter), Idalina Fernandes and husband Domingos Batista Fernandes and Joaquina Bush and husband Dwayne Bush; her brothers Joao and Ana Goncalves, Custodio and Joaquina Goncalves, Avelino and Ana Goncalves and sister Ana Goncalves of Milford.
She also leaves 12 loving Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren and many extended family members and friends. Funeral services for Ana will be held on Tuesday, May 24th at 10:00am from Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00am in Our Lady of Fatima Church followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visitation will precede the funeral on Tuesday from 8:15-10:00am.
