Obituary for Ana R. Monteiro
Ana R. Monteiro, 26, of Ludlow, was called to Heaven on July 15, 2008. Born in Lisbon, Portugal, she came to Ludlow in 1985. Ana was the beloved daughter of Paulo Monteiro DosSantos and Helena Maria Monteiro, of Ludlow; a cherished sister to Steven Monteiro, of Ludlow; a dear granddaughter to Carolina Bigelow and her husband Dan, of Springfield, Gracinda Pires, in Portugal, and the late Renato Martins and Jose Monteiro; a cherished niece of Tony and Paulo Soares and Nelson Martins; loving cousin to Dominic, Anthony and Francesco; and also leaves many other loving family members, dear friends and her beloved dog Snowball. Funeral services will be on Friday morning at 9am from Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am in Our Lady of Fatima Church followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5-8pm.
