Obituary for Ann M. (Harrica) Papillon
Ann M. Papillon, 77 of Ludlow, died peacefully November 23, 2013, with her family by her side. Born in Ludlow to the late James and Jane (Jennie) Harrica, she lived in Ludlow all her life. She was a retired employee of the Big-Y Corp., working in the payroll dept. Ann enjoyed most of her time, reading, gardening, and the beauty of nature, by bird watching and observing all the various wildlife around her home. For many years she was a den leader for the cub scouts, and belonged to the Ludlow Hockey Association Women’s Club. She was a graduate of Ludlow High School and a member of the former St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, but her greatest enjoyment was the time she spent with her great granddaughters. She is survived by her children; Joann Bradley and her husband Vince, of Ware, Arthur Papillon as his companion Kim Meyer, of Palmer, Scott Papillon of Springfield, and a brother; Alfred Harrica, and his wife Dolores of Phoenix Az., 3 grandchildren; Jeremy Boulrice and his wife Tiana and Jason Boulrice as his companion Amy Aldous all of Ware, and Jacquilyn Papillon of Methuen, 2 great granddaughters Jadyn and Madison of Ware, and her cat Wester. Sadly, she was predeceased by her son Paul in 2006. A Celebration of Life service for Ann will be Tuesday evening at 7P.M. at the Ludlow Funeral Home, with committal services to be held on Wednesday at 1 P.M. in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in her memory be made to the charity of one’s choice.
