Obituary for Anna (Almeida) Arcobello
Anna (Almeida) Arcobello, 98, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully at home on May 12, 2021 with her beloved husband by her side. Born in Ludlow, daughter of the late Ernesto and Idalina Almeida, she was a lifelong resident and graduate of Ludlow High School. Anna went on to graduate from Secretarial Business School and was employed as an executive secretary for Monsanto. She was a devoted and active communicant of the former St. Mary of the Assumption Parish and most recently at St Elizabeth Parish and enjoyed her time as a member of both church choirs. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bridge and was an avid golfer and member of Springfield Country Club; but most importantly, she loved spending time with her loving family. Anna was the beloved wife of 74 years to Mario D. Arcobello; a loving mother to Daniel Arcobello and wife Connie, of CT, and the late David Arcobello; a cherished grandmother to David Arcobello, and Mark Arcobello and wife Mollie; an adoring great-grandmother to Hunter; and also leaves many loving extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services for Anna were held privately by her family in St. Elizabeth Parish with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery. A memorial mass for Anna will be celebrated at a later date to be announced. Donation may be made in her memory to the charity of one’s choice.
