Obituary for Anna (Francisco) Salvador
Anna (Francisco) Salvador, 81, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2009. Born in Ludlow, she lived in St. Petersburg, FL. for many years before moving back to this area in March of 2004. She worked for many years at Smith and Wesson before her retirement. Anna was the beloved wife of the late Fernando Salvador who predeceased her in 1991; a loving mother to Maximino Salvador of South Deerfield, Francisco “Tony” Salvador of Mississippi, Ricardo Salvador of Chicopee, Joseph Salvador of Wilbraham and Anna Porte of Newport Richey, FL; a dear sister to Theresa Denisiewicz of Ludlow, and 7 late brothers and 3 late sisters; beloved aunt to Maxine Denisiewicz of Ludlow; as well as several other nieces and nephews; grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 5. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff at Wingate of Wilbraham Nursing Facility for the exceptional care they gave to Anna during her time with them. Funeral services will be on Monday, August 17, 2009 at 8am from Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9am in St. John the Baptist Church followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours are on Sunday from 3-6pm.
