Obituary for Anna G. (Stefanik) Amelisko
Anna G. (Stefanik) Amelisko, 93, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2008 at Wingate at Wilbraham where she has resided for the past five years. She was born in Chicopee, the daughter of the late Stanislaw and Stephania (Maslanka) Stefanik. She lived in the Springfield area for most of her life, however, she most recently resided in Ludlow, MA where she was a faithful communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church for over 20 years. She worked at F.W. Sickles, where she met her late husband Kazimer. Later in life, Anna worked along side him at his business Liberty Record and T.V. in Springfield, MA. She enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with family. Anna was predeceased by her beloved husband Kazimer Amelisko in 2006. She leaves her loving daughter Mary Bushway and her husband Allan of Ludlow; her cherished grandchildren, Jacqueline Torres and her husband Joseph, of N.Y., Ann Marie Bushway, of R.I. and many loving family members and dear friends. She was also predeceased by her siblings John and Edward Stefanik, Adeline Kryzminski and Genevieve Coulombe.  Funeral Services will be held on Thusday, May 29th. Visitation will begin at 10:15 am to be followed by Chapel Services at 11 am at Ludlow Funeral Home. A private burial will be held by the family in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Anna’s memory to the charity of one’s choice.
