Obituary for Anne (Hnatow) Lamberton
Mrs. Anne (Hnatow) Lamberton, 87, of Springfield died on Saturday, November 17, 2007. She was a former employee of the Department of Public Welfare and retired in 1983. Anne served as a chaplain for the Women’s Emblem Club of the United States, Ludlow Division, and for many years she was a volunteer at the former Wesson Hospital under the direction of Mrs. Steele. She leaves her three children: Wade L. Lamberton of Ludlow, Hope A. Nicodermus of Chicopee and Neal R. Lamberton of Springfield; three cherished grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Anne was predeceased by her brother Thomas Hnatow, who passed away in 2004, and her sister Mary Ney in 1993. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:00AM from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00AM in St. Peter and St. Paul Ukranian Catholic Church followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visiting hours are Tuesday evening from 4-7PM.
