Obituary for Anthony "Bobby" Andre
Anthony “Bobby” Andre, 65, formerly of Ludlow, died Sept. 21, 2008 in Oceanside, California surrounded by his loving family. Born in Ludlow, beloved son of the late Peter and Rose (Pereira) Andre, he graduated from Springfield Technical High School and moved to Oceanside, CA in 1966. He was the former owner of Bob Gardner T.V. and Appliance and worked for many years at Circuit City and Gemco. Anthony was a fun loving person with a deep compassion for family. He was always optimistic, proud and very organized. He also loved driving his Corvette, dancing and especially spending time with his family and friends. He was the founder and president of Corvettes in Motion, and a member of the Oceanside Jeep Club and Elks Club. Anthony was the loving father of Dawn Ramirez and her husband Jaime, and Kimberly Andre, all of CA; a cherished grandfather to Jaime Jr. Vincent, Elizabeth, Kaylin and Aidan; a dear brother to Jacqueline Tower and her husband Robert, of South Windsor, CT, Marian Sullivan and her husband Mark, of Sudbury, MA, and the late Frankie Andre; a cherished uncle to Andrea and Ryan Tower and Matthew and Kristen Sullivan; and also leaves many other beloved family members and dear friends. Anthony was laid to rest in California. Family and friends may attend memorial services to be held on October 18, 2008 at Ludlow Funeral Home from 12:00 - 2:00pm.
