Obituary for Antonio A. Carneiro
Antonio A. Carneiro, 85, a longtime resident of Ludlow, was called back into God's Care on Sunday, July 1, 2007. Â Born in Milford, he retired from the former Digital Corp in Westfield, and prior to that worked for over 28 years at Westinghouse Corp. Â Tony served his country during WW II with the US Army, and was a member of the 75th Division of Veteran's Association, the Gremio Lusitano and Portuguese American Citizen's Club as well as the Lusitano Alumni Association. and the Ludlow Senior Citizens. He was predeceased by his wife, Elsie (Bello) Carneiro in 1983 and a son Robert in 2001. He is survived by a son Ronald and his wife Gail of Wilbraham; a daughter, Donna Korbel and her husband Jim of Willington Ct.;his siblings Americo and Jack Carneiro, and Hilda Dias all of Ludlow; 5 grandchildren; Kevin, Craig, Marc and Kelly Carneiro and Kara Voght; 2 great grandchildren; Kaylah and Hannah; his daughter-in-law Phyllis Carneiro; his former son-in-law Richard Voght as well as several nephews and nieces.
