Antonio G. Andre, 94, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026 with his loving family by his side. Born in Padornelos, Montalegre, Portugal, he proudly served in the Portuguese Army in Cascais, Lisbon and immigrated to the United States in 1972. Antonio was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Parish and a member of the Gremio Lusitano Club and also enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.
Antonio was the beloved husband of 69 years to Isaura (Alves) Andre; a loving father to his 3 sons Jose Andre and wife Joaquina, Augusto Andre and wife Ilda, and Germano Andre and wife Mary Anne, all of Ludlow; a devoted grandfather to Dinis Andre and wife Cristina, Elizabete Birri and husband Jason, Marc Andre, Ryan Andre, Shaun Andre, and Tanya Tarleton and husband Andrew; a cherished great grandfather to Gabriel, Juliana, Tommy, Evelyn, and Eliza; a dear brother to the late Jose G. Andre and Domingos Gil; and also leaves many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Funeral services for Antonio will be held on Tuesday, March 31st. Visitation is from 9:00-10:15am at Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00am in Our Lady of Fatima Parish followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery.
