Obituary for Antonio Rodrigues
Antonio “Brownie” Rodrigues, 86, of Ludlow, was called home to be with God on Wednesday, December 6, 2006. Born in Ludlow, he was a veteran of WWII serving his country honorably as a member of the Unites States Army. Antonio worked for many years for the Ludlow School System, retiring in 1985, and was a former member of the Unity Athletic Club in Ludlow. He leaves his beloved wife of 41 years Theresa (Smart) Rodrigues of Ludlow; beloved daughters Beverly Silva and her husband Pedro of Ludlow and Helen Holmes and her husband Malcolm of Whitmore Lakes, Michigan; step-sons Richard Comeau and his wife Cynthia of East Longmeadow and Robert Comeau of Hamilton, Montana; 10 cherished grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Antonio was predeceased by his brother Fernao Rodrigues and a step-son Gary Comeau. Committal services with full Military Honors will be held Monday, December 11, 2006 at 9:00am at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
