Obituary for Antonio Roxo

Antonio Roxo, died at his home late Sunday evening, Oct. 8, 2007, following a period of declining strength and health.  His family rejoices in the knowledge that he passed the barrier of time as we know it, and is forever at home with the Savior he faithfully served for 81 years.  Antonio is survived  by his wife Laura Rainha Roxo; three daughters, Saozinha “Connie” Roxo, Maria Jose (Joni) Vadnais, and Margarida Carbonell; four sons, Peter, Joe, Fernando, and Paul Roxo; and is also remembered and loved by 19 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Manuel and Fernando Roxo and 3 sisters, Maria Roxo, Emilia Serrazina and Gracinda Roxo.  His family would like to thank the many friends for their kindness and support that was give to them during their difficult time.  Christian friends, brothers, and sisters are indeed one of the most meaningful gifts of life.  Funeral services are on Wednesday morning at 8am from the Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9am in Our Lady of Fatima Church followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery.  Visitation is on Tuesday from 4-7pm and donations may be made in memory of Antonio to Franciscan Mission Associates 274-280 West Lincoln Ave. PO BOX 598, Mt.
