Obituary for Apolonio R. Jayma
Apolonio Jayma, 86, of Ludlow was called home to be with God on Sunday March 11, 2007. Born in the Philippines, the son of Pedro and Andrea (Ramada), he served his country honorably in the United States Army during WWII. Apolonio was a commercial fisherman in his native Philippines, retiring in 1980. He leaves his loving and devoted family; his son Dr. Fernando and Maria Jayma of Ludlow, his daughters Melania Lim and her husband Mario of Canada and Obdulia Jayma of Philippines; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Corazon (Yu) Jayma in 1985 and his son Alfonso Jayma in 1994. Apolonio’s family wishes to thank Dr. Meme Orquiola for the compassionate care she had given to him. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning March 14, 2007 at 9:00am from the Ludlow Funeral Home, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Christ the King Church at 10:00am, burial to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Visiting hours are Tuesday evening from 5-8pm.
