Obituary for Arlindo Simao
Arlindo Simao, 89, of Ludlow was called home to be with God on Thursday, January 30, 2013, Born in Bombarral, Portugal he has lived in Ludlow for many years and was a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church. He worked at the former Easco Hand Tools before his retirement. He was the beloved husband of the late Mariete (Valerio) Simao who predeceased him in 2010. Arlindo leaves his loving son Rui Simao and his wife Maryann of Ludlow; caring grandsons Rui Simao Jr. of Ayer and Joaquim Simao of Ludlow; his dear great-granddaughter Calli; and a sister Ida Bicho. Sadly Arlindo was predeceased by his brothers Jose, Fermino and Joaquim and his sisters Maria Antonia and Candida. Funeral services will be held on Monday February 4th, 2013 at 8:00am from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 9:00am in Our Lady of Fatima Church followed by interment in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours are Sunday afternoon from 3:00pm-6:00pm.
