Obituary for Armand Dias
Armand A. “Rex” Dias, 55, a longtime Ludlow resident, was called back into God’s Care on Wednesday, July 19, 2006, after a long illness. Born Nov. 8, 1950, the son of Armand and Hilda (Carneiro) Dias, he spent several years living and working in San Diego before returning to Ludlow. He was an employee of the Ma. Turnpike Authority, and worked in Real Estate and Insurance with the Joseph Dias Realty & Insurance Company, and also was a certified real estate appraiser. Armand was much loved and will be sadly missed. Besides his parents of Ludlow, he leaves his loving partner Charlene Wilson; 2 children Alan and Audra Dias; his sister Janice Dias and her husband Charles Ahmes of Chicago; and a brother Mark and his wife Amy as well as their children Ana and Eric all of N. Easton, Ma. He was also predeceased by a brother Alan in 1973. Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 8am from Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9am in St. Mary of the Assumption Church followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
