Obituary for Armand L. Amaral
Armand L. Amaral, 73 of Ludlow and Portugal, was called back into God’s care, on Thursday, September 21, 2006.   Born in Portugal, he lived in Ludlow since 1957. Armand was the retired owner of A. L. Amaral and Sons Construction Co., Ludlow, and was a former President of the Gremio Lusitano Club. A civic leader of the community, he also was a founder of the Portuguese School. He leaves his loving wife; Guilhermina (Inacio) Amaral , 2 sons Armand , of  Ludlow , Jose of R.I. , a  daughter  Branca  Amaral of Miami Fl. 2 brothers Antonio L. Amaral and Jose M. Nunes of Portugal, 2 sisters Maria do Conceicao daCruz of Portugal and Maria Amelia Nunes of Ludlow, as well as 4 grandchildren.
