Obituary for Arthur Gauthier
Arthur J. Gauthier, 60, of Ludlow passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on Wednesday March 7, 2012. Born in Ludlow, he was the son of the late Alcide and Theresa (Auger) Gauthier, he was a lifelong resident and graduate of Ludlow High School in 1969. Art was an avid fisherman and enjoyed golfing, hunting, boating, hockey and coaching softball, but his greatest joy in life was spending time with his loving family. He leaves his cherished daughters Lauren B. Gauthier and Lindsay M. Gauthier of Ludlow; caring sister Deborah Gauthier and a niece Allyson Gauthier as well as many family members and friends throughout the community. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday March 10, 2012 at 1:00pm at Ludlow Funeral Home, with Father Francis Manning officiating. Visitation will precede the service from 11:30am-1:00pm. In lieu of flowers Arthur’s family has asked that donations be made in his memory to: Baystate Hospice, 50 Maple Street, Springfield 01104.
