Obituary for Arthur J. Vautrain
Arthur J. Vautrain , 82 , of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on Sunday June 11, 2006. Born in Ludlow, the son of John and Genevieve (Gamache) Vautrain, he worked for the East Longmeadow School system and Taylor Rental before retiring in 1989. He was a WW II Army veteran serving in the European Theatre, and was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church. Arthur is survived by several nieces and nephews. His Liturgy of Christian Burial will be Saturday June 17, at 9 AM in St. John the Baptist Church , with burial to follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery . Memorial Contributions may be made to the church’s Pastoral Center Fund,181 Hubbard St. Ludlow, 01056 or the American Diabetes Association, PO BOX 1132, Fairfax Va. 22038-1132. There are no visiting hours, and Ludlow Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
