He was predeceased by his first wife Carol Fitchet in 1988. He is survived by his son Robert and his wife Sherri in St. Petersburg, Florida. Arthur will be missed by his loving wife Kathleen (Novak) Married 29 years October 5, 1990 at Saint Joseph Church in Rockville, Connecticut. Together they enjoyed annual trips to Rockport, Ma. to celebrate their anniversary and Arts birthday. He had a special bond with his “little girl” Ruby who misses her PAPA very much. Art was a gentle kind person who will be missed by his brother-in-law Steve Novak and his wife Rita of Coventry Connecticut. He always enjoyed spending time with family and friends in Connecticut and Massachusetts and he will be missed by everyone. Kathleen thanks the doctors and nurses for their compassionate care Most especially Dr. Maryam Hasan at Baystate, and is grateful to Dr. John Bedford who supported her and her husband through the past three years. A funeral mass to celebrate Art's life will be held at a later date and donations may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 264 Cottage St., Springfield, MA 01104.
