Obituary for Barbara A. (Morton) Boudreau
Barbara A. (Morton) Boudreau, 80, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully at home on March 16, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of the late Charles and Madeline (Foley) Morton, she was a lifelong Ludlow resident, a 1949 graduate of Ludlow High School, and communicant of St. Elizabeth Parish. She worked for many years for the former Horseman's Yankee Pedlar Newspaper before retiring to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was an avid sports fan and loved the Boston Red Sox and Bruins, as well as a lover of the outdoors, especially camping and fishing. Barbara was the beloved wife of 60 years to George Boudreau; a loving mother to Thomas Boudreau and wife Laureen, of Belchertown, Susan James and husband David, of Ludlow, and Michael Boudreau and girlfriend Candy Minney, also of Ludlow; a dear sister to Charles Morton Jr. and wife Shirley, of Ludlow; a devoted grandmother to Jeremy (Bonnie) and Chrissy James, Ashley and Kevin Boudreau, Brian and Steven Boudreau, and Erik Lemieux; and also leaves many loving extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 11:00am from at the Ludlow Funeral Home with Monsignor Homer Gosselin officiating followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 5:00-8:00pm and preceding the funeral service.
