Obituary for Barbara Ann (Davidson) Steele
Barbara Ann (Davidson) Steele 59, of Shepherd St, Chicopee, died Sunday at home. She was born in Brooklyn, NY to her late parents Robert & Ann Davidson, She was a graduate of Ludlow High School Class of 68' and resided in Ludlow, Springfield before settling in Chicopee. She was employed by Gulf Oil on the Mass Turnpike for a number of years. She is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Steele of Palmer, and his children Jason, Lee, Cindy, Wendy and their children. Her beloved son, Michael Bergeron of Ludlow, wife Leora, and granddaughter Lyla. Barbara also leaves her caring brother, Joseph Davidson of Feeding Hills, wife Christina, and nephew Cameron. She also leaves countless other family, friends, and co-workers. Services celebrating her life will be held on Friday, November 26th, 2010 from 4:00-6:15 at Ludlow Funeral Home, 432 East St. Ludlow, concluding with a Celebration of Life Service at 6:30pm with Msgnr. Homer Gosselin officiating. Graveside services will be on Saturday at 10am in Island Pond Cemetery and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara’s memory to: D’Amour Center for Cancer Care, 3350 Main Street, Springfield, MA. 01107.
