Obituary for Barbara Ann (Warren) Capuano
Barbara Ann (Warren) Capuano, 70, of Springfield, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2017 surrounded by the love of her family. Born and raised in Ludlow, Barbara was the daughter of the late Willis and Ann (Dynok) Warren, and was a 1964 graduate of Ludlow High School. She went on to Kay Harvey Beauty School and worked for many years as a hairdresser in the Springfield area. Barbara then received her degree from STCC and worked locally as a radiologist technician before retiring in 2011. She was an avid dog lover, enjoyed cooking and gardening, and will remembered for her vibrant personality and love of life. Barbara was the beloved wife of the late David Capuano, who predeceased her in 1981; a devoted mother to Andrew Capuano, of Springfield; a loving sister to Raymond L. Warren and wife Maureen, of Springfield, and Margaret Allore and husband Leon, of Ludlow; and also leaves her nieces and nephews Samuel Allore, Sara Mendez, Joshua L. Warren, Daniel C. Warren, and their families, as well as her dog Oreo, many loving extended family members, and dear friends. Visitation for Barbara will be held on Monday, May 15th from 11:00am-12:00pm in Ludlow Funeral Home concluding with a Celebration of Life Service at 12:00pm. There will be no burial and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara’s memory to Second Chance Animal Clinic , 501 Belmont Ave, Spfld, Ma. 01108 SecondChanceAnimals.org.
