Obituary for Betty (Millett) Adams
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we mourn the loss of Betty Millett Adams who passed peacefully at home on August 13, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Betty was happily married to her loving husband, George Adams, for over 63 years. They have 2 daughters, Cynthia Adams and Janice Hoffman; 3 grandsons, Randy Hoffman and his wife Andrea, Brian Hoffman and his wife Amanda and Jason Hoffman and his wife Caitlin. Betty also had 3 great grandchildren which she adored - Christopher, Dominick and Hailey Hoffman.
Betty raised her family primarily in Ludlow. The family took multiple camping trips while exploring many other areas and having great vacations. After retiring, George and Betty moved to Cape Cod and spent the winter in Ft. Myers Beach, FL. Here they made many friends and had a great amount of fun. Betty was a wonderful cook and entertained many friends at her home.
She will be greatly missed by her many friends and family. Betty received wonderful care from Brookhaven Hospice and loved the care and advice from her nurse Mandy. Betty would also like to thank Sam from Kind Hands for the wonderful care and help she provided in addition to being a good friend. Betty is deeply grateful to her two daughters who took care of her 24/7 for months so she could remain at home.
A celebration of life will be held in her honor on Monday, August 18 at The Ludlow Country Club, 1 Tony Lena Drive, Ludlow from 5:00 - 8:00 for family and friends.
