Obituary for Beverly Ann (Cote) Sjostrom
Beverly Ann (Cote) Sjostrom, 77, of Belchertown, formerly of Agawam, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2020, after a brief illness. She was born on July 3, 1942 in Springfield, Ma., to the late Douglas and Doris (Fournier) Cote. She worked as a visiting nurse for a few years in the early 80’s before dedicating herself to her family and working in the family business. Beverly was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 40 years, Burt D. Sjostrom, Sr., and a sister Betty Crawford. She will be forever missed by her loving children, Burt D. Sjostrom, Jr. and wife Lori Valliere, and Lisa Routhier and husband Dwayne, Sr., all of Belchertown. She was a devoted grandmother to Holden Sjostrom and wife Melissa West, Dwayne Routhier Jr., Ashley Lefebvre, and Mary Valliere; a cherished great-grandmother to Caden and Noah Sjostrom. She also leaves her dear twin sister, Shirley Jenks, and son Donald of Chicopee, along with many loving extended family members and dear friends. All services for Beverly will be held privately by her family.
