Obituary for Brian M. Kowal
Brian M. Kowal, 40, of Chicopee, passed away unexpectedly on April 22, 2019. Brian was born in Holyoke and was a longtime Chicopee resident. He worked for many years as a painter and “jack of all trades” in the area, and in his spare time, he enjoyed the outdoors; especially hunting, fishing, and boating. Brian leaves his loving mother Diane (Chouinard) Adamczyk and her husband Stephen; his son Aydian Kirby; his sister Jennifer M. Kowal; his grandmother Loretta Chouinard, for whom he was a caregiver for many years; his 2 nieces Amanda Santerre and Kaylin Chagnon, whom he adored; many loving extended family members and dear friends; and was sadly predeceased by his brother Michael Kowal in 2007. All funeral services for Brian will be held privately by his family.
