Obituary for Bruno P. Kiwior
Bruno P. Kiwior, 82, of Ludlow, was called to Heaven on December 29, 2007. Born in Ludlow, the son of the late Walter and Katherine (Zydlo) Kiwior, he was a lifelong resident and a faithful communicant of Christ the King Church. On July 14th, he celebrated 55 years of employment at Workshop for the Blind in the basement of Zanetti School at 59 Howard St., Springfield. He also worked part time as a piano tuner and piano repairman for 50 years before retiring in 1997 due to arthritis in his right wrist. Bruno was the beloved brother of Julia Fatal of Ludlow and the late Stanley Kiwior and Mary Drost; a cherished uncle to several nieces and nephews including Tony Fatal, who cared for him for 33 years; and also leaves countless friends including his fellow worker and best friend Joe Piela, of Chicopee. Funeral services will be on Wednesday morning at 10am from Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11am in Christ the King Church followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday evening from 4 - 7pm. Memorial donations may be made in Bruno’s memory to Eyes for the Needy, Ludlow Lions Club, PO BOX 72 Ludlow, Ma. 01056.Â
