Obituary for Bryon L. Benware
Bryon L. Benware, 64, of Chicopee, passed away peacefully at home on September 9, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Malone, NY, son of the late Wesley and Lorraine (Dupuis) Benware, he was a longtime resident of Springfield where he was a graduate of Springfield Trade H.S. and member of the former Knights of Columbus in Indian Orchard. Bryon was self employed in the HVAC industry before retiring, and in his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, and was a devoted fan of the NY Yankees and NY Giants. Bryon was the beloved husband of 41 years to Dorothy “Dottie” (Britt) Benware; a loving father to Kimberly Anderson and husband Robert, of Ludlow, and Brandy Sullivan, of South Hadley; a devoted grandfather to Tiffaney Ablicki and husband Matt, of Three Rivers, and Brian, Riley, Jack, and Faith Sullivan, of South Hadley; a cherished great-grandfather to Logan Ablicki; a dear brother to Bryce Benware, of South Hadley, Barbara LaBier, of Arizona, and Beverly Noland, of Indian Orchard; and also leaves many loving extended family members, and dear friends. Visiting hours for Bryon will be held on Tuesday, September 11 at Ludlow Funeral Home from 4:00-5:45pm concluding with a Celebration of Life service at 6:00pm.
