Obituary for Carl L. Myette
Carl L. Myette, 87, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2010. Born in Springfield, son of the late Andrew and Hilda (Garrand) Myette, he lived most of his life in Ludlow where he was a faithful communicant of the former St. Mary of the Assumption Church. Carl was a United States Army Veteran proudly serving his country during WWII. He was the top salesman for many years at Springfield Gaslight Co. before retiring. He always enjoyed his time camping with his family in the Adirondacks. Carl was the beloved husband of the late Agnes (McDonald) Myette, who predeceased him in 2000; a beloved father to Richard Myette and his wife Barbara; Kenneth Myette and the late Thomas Myette; a cherished grandfather to Lisa Wegiel and Lori Harnois; adoring great-grandfather to Bria and Maddax; a dear brother to Evelyn Galvin, and the late Roy Myette, Helen Campofredano, and Iva Londerville. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 10am from Ludlow Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Elizabeth Parish followed by burial with Military Honors in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visiting hours will precede the funeral on Wednesday from 8:30-10am.
