Funeral services for Carol will be on Monday, December 15th at Ludlow Funeral Home. Visiting hours are from 9:45-10:45am with a funeral home chapel service beginning at 11:00am followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery.
Carol A. (Willis) Desilets, 76, of Ludlow, died on December 11, 2014 surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Springfield, daughter of the late Percy and Agnes (Goss) Willis, she grew up in Springfield and moved to Ludlow in 1958. Carol volunteered much of her time over the years to the Ludlow and Indian Orchard Community Survival Centers, but her greatest joy in life was spending time with her adoring family. Carol was the beloved wife of 56 years to Leo T. Desilets; a loving mother to Lori Goulet and husband Ray, of Belchertown, Ann Marie Allard and husband Jim, of Warren, and Steven Desilets and wife Pam, of Ludlow; a cherished grandmother to Mike and Bill Goulet, Ryan Allard and wife Kristen, Shannon and Eric Allard, and Casey and Keith Desilets; an adoring great-grandmother to Cameron Allard; a dear sister to the late Beverly Cecere; and also leaves many loving extended family members and dear friends.Â
