Carol Rae (Hunt) Cobb, 90, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully at home on June 15, 2026. Born in Greenfield, she was the daughter of Ellsworth and Christine (Whitney) Hunt and was a longtime resident of Ludlow. Carol was employed for over 30 years as a homemaker for the elderly, a profession that brought her much joy and built many beautiful relationships with her clients. She will also be affectionately remembered for her love of collecting angels, and love of Hershey’s Kisses as she always had a full bowl ready for the guests in her home.
Carol was the beloved wife of the late Ronald Cobb who predeceased her in 2013; a loving mother to Bill Cobb and his wife Christine of Northborough and Cindy Casey and her husband Gary of Feeding Hills; devoted grandmother to Brandon and spouse Mikayla, Sean and spouse Maddison, Meaghan and spouse Erin, and Julia; a cherished great-grandmother to Calvin, Max, Delilah, and Austin; a dear sister to Robert Hunt, and the late Norman and Russell Hunt; and also leaves her sisters- in-law Blanche and Linda Hunt, many loving extended family members, and dear friends.
At Carol’s request, funeral services will be held privately by her family. Donations are requested in Carol’s memory to the American Diabetes Association (diabetes.org)
