Obituary for Carol (Rauh) McLean
Carol (Rauh) McLean, 78, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2021. Born in Springfield, she was the daughter of the late George and Thelma (Stowers) Rauh and a graduate of Technical High School. Carol was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox, N.E. Patriots, and the WNBA. She also loved playing bingo, going to the casino, and traveling with her husband. She enjoyed playing scrabble in the afternoons with her granddaughter Stephanie. Carol was the beloved wife of 61 years to Charles “Chuck” McLean; a loving mother to Michael McLean and wife Teresa, and Michele Biathrow and husband George, all of Ludlow; a devoted grandmother to Stephanie and Chantz McLean, Mike McLean Jr. and wife Kate, Sierra, Eric Sullivan and wife Ashley, and Odessa Biathrow; a cherished great-grandmother to Anthony Matta; and also leaves many loving extended family members, and dear friends. Walk Through No Contact Visiting hours for Carol will be held on Monday, February 15th from 2:00-4:00pm in Ludlow Funeral Home. Burial services will be held privately by her family in Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
