Obituary for Carol S. Cresentini
Carol S. (Fournier) Crescentini, 76, of Ludlow, was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 14 , 2006. Born in Ludlow, she was raised in the Indian Orchard section of Springfield before making her home in Ludlow in 1948. She was a faithful communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, where she taught religious education for 26 Years and was recognized with the Pius X award. She leaves her beloved husband of 57 years, John P. Crescentini of Ludlow; her 7 loving children Donna Barnard and her husband Robert of Hudson, FL. James Crescentini of OK, Jerry Crescentini of Ludlow, Joel Crescentini and his wife Jill of Monson, Jeffrey Crescentini of OK, Jay Crescentini and his wife Anna of Feeding Hills, and Debra Morton and her husband James of Ludlow. She also leaves 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and many loving extended family members and friends. Carol is now reunited in Heaven with her son, John V. Crescentini, who predeceased her in 1990, her parents Moise and Marie Fournier in 1981 and her infant brother George Fournier. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 20, 2006 at 10:00am from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00am in St. Mary of the Assumption Church followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visiting hours are on Sunday from 4-7pm and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carol’s memory to the charity of ones choice.
