Obituary for Carolyn (Barszcz) Saletnik
Carolyn (Barszcz) Saletnik, 86, of Ludlow, was called back into God’s care on Wednesday, June 14, 2006, with her loving family at her side. Born the daughter of Josef and Anna (Dusza) Barszcz, she was a lifelong resident of Ludlow and worked for the Monsanto, Book Press and Wm. E. Wright Companies.  Carolyn was a faithful communicant of Christ the King Church, and belonged to its St. Anne and Rosary Sodalities. She was the widow of Anthony Saletnik, who predeceased her in 1978. Carolyn leaves 2 loving daughters, Nancy Wheeler and Susan Saletnik, both of Ludlow: 3 sisters, Stella Nardi of Hampden, Helen Waz of Ludlow and Julie Pikul of Palmer. She was predeceased by 5 sisters, 3 brothers, and her only grandchild Jason Ragsdale. Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 10:30am from the Ludlow Funeral Home, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Christ the King Church at 11am.  Burial to follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery.  Visiting hours are Saturday morning only from 8:30 -10:30am and memorial contributions may be made in Carolyn’s memory to the Christ the King Church Memorial Fund, Warsaw Ave.  Ludlow, 01056. Â
