Obituary for Catherine I. (Bouyea) Hill Masley
Catherine I. (Bouyea) (Hill) Masley, 93, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2022 with her loving family by her side. She was born in Springfield, daughter of the late Roy and Mary (Gingras) Bouyea, she was a graduate of Cathedral High School and moved to Ludlow upon marriage where she was a Communicant of St. Elizabeth Parish and in her spare time loved to play bingo, watch QVC, and traveling to the beach with family and friends, especially Hampton Beach.
Catherine was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Hill, who predeceased her in 1966, and Theodore Masley who predeceased her in 1978; a loving mother to Arthur Hill, of Palmer, Mark Hill and wife Mary, of Ludlow, Cathy Dineen and husband John, of Longmeadow, and Ellen Vogel and husband Kenneth, of Ludlow; a devoted grandmother to Katelyn, Archie, Jennifer, Matthew, Mark, Matt, Meghan, Emily, Rebecca, Daniel, Nicholas, Zachary, and the late David; adored great-grandmother of 18; a dear sister to Margaret Robillard, and the late Robert Bouyea, Marion Reid, and Ruthie Aucoin; and also leaves many loving extended family members and dear friends. Catherine’s family wishes to extend a special thank you to the entire staff of Life Care Center of Wilbraham for the exceptional care and kindness they provided to Catherine and her family. Services for Catherine will be held on Sunday, February 13th. Visiting hours are from 12:00-1:30pm in Ludlow Funeral Home concluding with a Celebration of Life Service at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Catherine’s memory to the Activities Fund at Life Care Center of Wilbraham 2399 Boston Rd. Wilbraham, Ma. 01095
