Obituary for Catherine M. (Janes) Tenerowicz
Catherine M. (Janes) Tenerowicz, 85, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2010 surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born in Ludlow, she was a lifelong resident, a graduate of Ludlow H.S., and worked for many years at Rexcel before retiring. Catherine was a devoted member of Church of the Epiphany in Wilbraham and was also a former Sunday school teacher and secretary assistant. She also was a member of the former Scottish Clans in Ludlow and loved animals, especially her dog Chloe. She loved to read, do puzzles, and spent her summers at Camp Dennen in Plymouth, Ma, where she will be missed by many friends. Catherine was the beloved wife of the late Thaddeus T. Tenerowicz, who predeceased her in 1995; The loving mother of Alix DeGregory, of Ludlow; a cherished grandmother to Christopher DeGregory and his wife Holly, of Virginia; great grandmother to Jacob and Katie, who loved their “gigi”.; and also leaves several nieces, extended family members and dear friends including her Godchildren Daryl Grosvenor and Michele Masse. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 28, at Church of the Epiphany Highland Ave., Wilbraham. Visitation at the Church will be from 9:00-10:45 followed by the church service at 11:00am. Burial will be on Tues. June 29 at 9:00am in Island Pond Cemetery and Ludlow Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
