Obituary for Charles B. Nevue
Charles B. Nevue, 85, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Thorndike, son of the late Merrille F. Nevue Sr. and Stella (Domoslawski) Nevue, he lived most of his life in Ludlow and worked for many years at Monson Developmental Center. Charles loved nature and enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially at the ocean. His many hobbies included hunting, fishing, chopping wood, and raising homing pigeons, chickens, and rabbits; but his greatest joy was spending time with his family. Charles was predeceased by his wife Barbara Nevue in 1980 and his daughter Melissa Nevue in 2009; he is survived by his wife Carol Nevue; daughter Mishel Mitus and husband Robert of East Longmeadow; daughter Marie Patruno; grandchildren Lily Mitus, Dylan Allen, Davin Allen, Autumn Patruno, Addyson Patruno, Giana Patruno, and Greysen Patruno; as well as many extended family members and friends. Funeral services will be held privately by his family and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to The American Heart association (heart.org)
