Obituary for Claire Y. Brehaut
Claire Y. (LaPoint) Brehaut, 70, of Belchertown, died peacefully on May 4, 2013 with her loving family by her side. Born in Springfield, daughter of the late Eddie and Angeline (Harrison) LaPoint, she worked for many years at A.I.C. before retiring. Claire was the beloved wife of 49 years to Stanley Brehaut; a loving mother to Cyndi Brehaut Albano and husband Fred, of N.H., Tina Barbieri, of Springfield, and Stanley Brehaut Jr. and wife Barbara, of Ludlow; a cherished grandmother to Nicholas and Rebecca Barbieri, Garhett Albano, and Holly and Nolan Brehaut; a dear sister to Rita Trowski, of Springfield, Eddie G. LaPoint, of West Springfield, and Rose Bennett, of FL; and also leaves many loving extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Ludlow Funeral Home. Visiting hours will be from 9:00-10:45am concluding with a Celebration of Life service at 11:00am.  Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
