Obituary for Clara G. Lourenco
Clara G. Lourenco, 90, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 7th, 2009. Born in Holyoke, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Conceicao (Pereira) Lourenco. Clara has lived in Ludlow since 1960 and was a faithful communicant of St. John the Baptist Church. She leaves her brother Manuel J. Lourenco and his wife Lourdes of Ludlow; her niece and nephews, Ingrid C. Metz of Georgia, Wayne J. Lourenco of California and Arthur J. Lourenco and his wife Regina of Ludlow; great niece Danielle Metz and great nephews Brian Metz and Dylan Lourenco; as well as many cherished cousins and friends who brought much happiness into her life. Funeral services will be held on Friday December 11th, 2009 at 9:15am from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial beginning at 10:00am in St. John the Baptist Church, with Monsignor Homer Gosselin presiding, burial will follow in Island Pond Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday morning only from 8:00am-9:15am.
